Residential Design-Build – Cozy Backyard Living

A single mom of a teenage daughter, this client was looking to create a cozy retreat for her entertaining, hobbies and relaxation.

The garden included a gazebo that created a lovely furnished outdoor living room that can be used year round, water feature that provided tranquility, and raised beds for a vegetable garden along with a custom potting bench for her orchids.   While selecting materials on a field trip with us, the client also discovered a pair of Foo Dogs that reminded her of her travels to China.   From the vegetable garden area, these are now prominently placed at the entry to her outdoor living space and gazebo.  The most unique component of the project was a butterfly garden to please her 2 cats Joey and Parker; truly, partnering with nature and unique client desires.   

The property is a standard sized lot and it took much creativity to design and install all of these elements.  We found ways to use parts of her property that had never been maximized for living before.
